The answer is probably no unless you happen to be within view of the garage, which considering how much stuff we all tend to have in our garages these days is quite worrying!

Garage Door Indicator - is an innovative new product that lets you know whether your garage door is Open or Closed, without having to leave the house to find out. A clear benefit as this provides you with increased security, safety and peace of mind.
How does it work? - Put quite simply the Garage Door Indicator, “Monitors if your door is Open or Closed – Remotely” using a wireless radio link between your house and your garage. The receiver unit shows a flashing RED light when the door is open and a static GREEN light when the door is closed.
Easy DIY Installation - You simply attach the sensor unit to the back of your garage door with the fastening strip supplied and then go into the house and plug the receiver unit into the transformer and plug the transformer into any standard 13amp socket. It really is as easy as that.
Is it compatible with all door types? - The Garage Door Indicator suits manual and electrically operated Up and Over doors and Sectional Overhead Doors. It does not suit Roller or Side Hinged/Sliding Doors. Also, if you have more than one garage door, just add more sensors, the receiver can monitor up to four doors.
